Five ways to get indexed faster in Google.

Get your website indexed in Google for free.
I’ve decided to compile the five best ways to market your websites to get indexed faster by Google and other search engines. I’ve had some great success with these techniques and often get my new websites indexed by Google in a few days. Shortly after, expect your website to start climbing the search rankings.
Without further ado, I present to you my top 5 free tips on getting your site noticed by search engines:
1) Online Classifieds
This may seem to be obvious to some but remember there is a right and wrong way to go about posting links to your website on classified websites. The right way is to post on classified sites that aren’t too elaborate. Keep it local and appropriate to the topic of your website. If you have a sports website, put it with the sporting goods. A career website - post it with the jobs. Craigslist can be tricky in the larger cities to get anything done for free. If your website has a general theme and isn’t attached to one large city – consider posting on the smaller towns lists, they often don’t flag your links or make you pay for it. Every area is unique with their own online classifieds that are generally free, so make use of them.
2) Signature Blocks on forums/chat
This has proven to be very effective for a quick free way to promote your website. Once you’ve signed up for many forums in your area of interest and made a few posts – you are often free to put a signature block on your forum posts. Use this to your advantage! Put your tag line and link back to your website in the signature and search engines like Google will pick it up really quickly.
3) Social Bookmarking
These sites are the first stop you should make after developing your website. A good resource for this is socialmarker.com, which provides a one stop shop for the top social bookmarking websites like Digg, Furl, Stumple Upon, and so on. This gives you a fast way to put a link back to your website and a description quickly onto Google’s radar. Do this and your website will be in good shape in a few days.
4) Ebay listing
I came up with this method by mistake – but it sure seemed to work. Put up an Ebay listing for as low starting point as you can (under $1). Put in all the information about your website and a link back to it. The Ebay listing will categorize your information and Google will automatically post it to the web in its results. Once Ebay’s automatic algorithym notices that your site isn’t selling a product of any kind and contains a link – it will cancel your listing. But no worries – the whole point of the listing has completed – to get your listing published in Google’s search results. And even better, Ebay refunds you the cost of the listing because they cancelled it. It is probably best not to use your personal Ebay account for this. Instead, start up a new one just for this purpose.
5) Responding to Blog postings
Look up blogs that have similar subject areas as your website. Find blogs that have build up a decent Google pagerank and respond to their postings. Often times you don’t need to sign up for anything and you can directly promote your website to people who may be interested in your product/service/blog. This technique doesn’t have to be spammy – use your imagination. Actually make sense with your posting and relate it to the blog entry, this will also improve the odds of a moderator approving your comments.
I hope these five free ways of promoting your website are useful to you and l look forward to hearing your techniques. Website marketing is constantly evolving and requires research and trial and error. Don’t forget you can always submit your url directly to Google....but this alone won’t get you anywhere fast. Do all 5 steps above, a combination of 3 or 4 and watch your site appear in Google search results in days.
Happy promoting!
